Elisa improves mobile network in Helsinki city area starting from week 44. Network modification is done on weekdays from 8am to 4pm.

Network modification is part of mobile network renewal which will improve mobile network coverage and capacity.

Incident can cause interruption to mobile services in 2G, 3G and 4G mobile network. Network modifications take place step by step on a single site and the effect is targeted at one area at a time.

In most cases voice and data connections work normally since the neighboring base stations provide mobile coverage in the area.

Network changes are done during normal office hours which ensures the best preparedness for possible problem situations. Normal mobile network connections will be restored after network changes.
